Sunnyvale Community Services (SCS)

Sunnyvale Community Services is an emergency assistance agency that aims to combat hunger and homelessness in Sunnyvale. Their mission is for every resident in our community to have proper access to food, housing, and social services. To help with food insecurity, SCS gives out 900 tons of food every year and has a variety of distribution programs that give food to the elderly and underprivileged. In addition, they help veterans and the homeless through programs that provide work experience and resumé building. During this pandemic, they are continuing to distribute food as well as aid community members in need with financial aid for rent, utilities, medical bills and other expenses which can burden those who are unemployed or struggling during this time.
